After some thought, I think you should try a different brand or grade of fuel in an effort to solve the problem. Many areas of the us use oxygenated fuel to minimize emissions on older vehicles. One additive used is enthanol which evaporates quickly compared to gasoline. Also is is lighter and takes more of it to generate power(ask the alchohol dragsters how much fuel they need to run to get down the 1/4 mile). Sometimes just the subtle differences between brands will make a difference. Or try to fuel up outside a target area. I know we are going to see more, I just moved to Eastern WA and they are looking forward to the building of an enthanol plant here. The other additive(MBTE) is getting some critical looks and I think we be phased out. It is made by the refineries where as the ethanol is from agriculture. Guess you know the oil co would rather use MBTE as they make it. Keep the shiny side up, and take a MSF class as soon as you can.
